About

A family dental clinic, built for Broadmeadows

Y3 Smiles Dental is a modern family dental clinic at Unit 1/34 King William St, Broadmeadows, founded by principal dentist Dr Fatima Kurnaz, who grew up in the area. We care for adults and children, from check-ups to emergencies, with care available in English, Turkish and Bangla.

Why was Y3 Smiles Dental started?

Dr Fatima Kurnaz grew up in Broadmeadows. After training at the University of Melbourne and working in the Northern Territory, including at the special needs dental clinic at Royal Darwin Hospital, she came home to open a clinic for the community that raised her. The idea is simple: dental care that explains things clearly, in your language where we can, without pressure. Read Dr Fatima's story.

How do we look after you?

  • Comfort first. We take time to listen, explain and go at your pace, especially if you're nervous.
  • Clean and safe. We follow the infection control standards required of Australian dental practices.
  • For all ages. Young children through to grandparents, all in one clinic.
  • Clear about cost. You get your options and a quote before treatment, and we claim health funds on the spot through HICAPS.
  • Modern equipment. Digital x-rays and intraoral photos help us diagnose accurately and show you what we see.
